mBaaS took part in the 2026 P&U STRIKE Vietnam Global Program operated by Pusan National University Technology Holdings, signing MOUs with the Vietnamese company Tien Phong CDS and the Singapore-based company Taply. The program ran from September 14 to 18 in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam.
The program was designed to build a foundation for university technology startups to enter overseas markets. It centered on IR demo days reflecting each company’s overseas expansion needs, one-on-one business consultations with local buyers, visits to local innovation institutions, networking, and follow-up commercialization support. Five companies took part, including mBaaS.
Signed with CEO Kim Jung Hyun in attendance, the MOU with Tien Phong CDS covers local adoption of AiApp Studio, joint pursuit of digital transformation, technology localization, talent development, and international joint research. Both sides will continue follow-up discussions toward actual deployment.
With Taply of Singapore, we agreed on joint research into automated payment technology between AI agents and on entering the Asian market together. Taply also presented a letter of intent to purchase worth approximately KRW 30 million related to adopting the mBaaS AI infrastructure and AiApp Studio.
These two MOUs give mBaaS a cooperation structure linking Vietnam and Singapore, establishing a basis for pursuing local adoption, joint research, and Asian market entry in parallel.
Since launching a pilot service in Vietnam in 2025, mBaaS has been pursuing expansion into Japan, Southeast Asia, and other Asian markets, with the aim of carrying its experience of building payments, notification messaging, and identity verification into local requirements abroad.
