April 1, 2026
In April 2026, mBaaS was selected for the Ministry of SMEs and Startups' TIPS (Tech Incubator Program for Startups) through a recommendation from Pusan National University Technology Holdings Co., Ltd., and is now fully launching an R&D project worth a total of KRW 800 million. This is highly significant in that we have secured both government R&D funding and a private operator's recommendation.
Under the slogan "Start Today, Launch Today," mBaaS is an AI no-code platform startup that pursues the integration of AI vibe coding technology and BaaS (integrated backend infrastructure). Our core service, 'AiApp,' is a Korean no-code solution that builds web/app services and backend infrastructure all at once through natural-language conversation alone.
TIPS is a program in which the government provides matching R&D and commercialization funding on the premise of prior investment by a private operator. Rather than a simple government subsidy, it requires passing a private investment review first, so only companies recognized for both technological innovation and commercialization potential are selected.
As an incubated company of the Busan Center for Creative Economy and Innovation, mBaaS has steadily verified its technology and marketability step by step, starting with the Pre-Startup Package in 2021, followed by the Early-Stage Startup Package and the Startup Leap Package. This TIPS selection is an extension of that growth.
While global no-code platforms face limitations in commercializing in the Korean market because they cannot meet local payment and social-login requirements, AiApp's key differentiator is providing an environment where even non-experts can operate a business immediately.
The core of this TIPS project is technology that automatically converts disconnected legacy websites into modern structures.
mBaaS has also secured know-how in applying special-purpose environments, including building a real-time control platform for AI drones that collect marine debris, by participating in the National IT Industry Promotion Agency (NIPA)'s 'On-Device AI Service Demonstration Project.'
CEO Kim Jung Hyun, with 27 years of experience in the IT industry (former division head at Uracle Co., Ltd. and former vice president at Korea Tour Pass Co., Ltd.), stated, "This TIPS selection is all the more meaningful in that the AI vibe coding technology and mBaaS infrastructure we have built have been recognized by the government," adding, "We will grow into Asia's leading global AI no-code hub that creates an environment where 'technology does not stand in people's way,' so that small business owners and solo entrepreneurs who had to give up good business opportunities due to the technology gap can bring their own businesses to life digitally."
We sincerely thank everyone who supports mBaaS.
