The city of Busan has taken a step further toward the vision of "Busan as a sustainable future first, Busan as an Asian start-up city." The city announced on the 29th that it will recruit companies to participate in the "venture and start-up ESG leading company support project" and promote the project in earnest. This project is a program that Busan City certifies and intensively fosters and supports to grow into an ESG leading company, and is an unusual project for local governments to certify ESG for the first time in the country. Through this, certified companies can enjoy various benefits such as consulting, subscription to accounts receivable, support for commercialization funds (separate examination), and follow-up support for ESG management support consultative bodies.
mBaaS is one of the companies selected through the offering, which has led to the certification of ESG-related technologies and business performance, growth, and market scalability. A total of 21 companies among start-ups in the ESG-related field in Busan will receive this certification within seven years, and 10 of them will receive 10 to 30 million won in commercialization funds per company. mBaaS is a startup operating in the field of automatic app development solutions and platforms, and this selection is expected to continue to pursue sustainable management and technological innovation and positively affect the community along with Busan City.
